Approach

I love genre because it creates an opportunity to explore difficult ideas without having to announce them. Horror and thrillers are particularly good at exposing the irrational parts of human behavior, the things people are willing to believe, justify, or do when they're afraid.

I'm compelled to make films that embrace the pleasures of cinema while still giving audiences something to wrestle with after the credits roll.
